Daisy Ann's Story

Hi  - My name is Carrie.  I have just written a book called MY INNOCENCE LOST by Daisy Ann Rhodes.  It's my life story. After hitting rock bottom, I had to stop asking why and realize that I have gone through all of these hard times to help others.  I have been blessed to be
awakened by Heaven above and now my purpose in life is to help others, to be strong, to spread the word of healing . . . and that, my friend, is what I am now doing. This is all in my book, but I will share some of it with you.

My father molested me - my earliest memory is 4, so who knows when it started ...my life went on to also have others do the same.  I went on to a life of abuse, broken noses, anger, rage, and finally wanting to end my own life.  I suffered eating disorders (which I know now is a way to have control of your own body). I have a lot of tattoos - also it’s my body.  When I date someone and they tell me, hey, you have enough tattoos, I go get another one - don’t
tell me what I can’t do to my body!  Lol, all control over myself.

I spent years thinking I liked myself, but I did not – but the day came when I had to sink or swim, and swim with all my might I have done.  I found peace with my past, instead of seeing pain and anger.

I let go of it all, and I’m so at peace now.
I am not a victim – NO! I am a SURVIVOR.
Look what I have overcome.

You have to live for yourself.  Living in anger only hurts you.
You deserve to be happy - you deserve that inner peace.

You are beautiful, unique, you are you . . .
Let the past go – it’s gone, it can’t be changed - but you can be better than ever.
Look what you have overcome.  I am not a good writer, but I am a good talker, and this is why I know I have to spread the word and tell my story.

I would love to have a group and just sit and talk, and really help others find the peace I have.

PLEASE read my book.  I would gladly take any emails or calls - anything to talk to
people.

My reason for being here is to help others heal. Blessings to all of you and please know, someone understands.  Someone knows how you feel.

Love,
Carrie
